About Place:
At 7500 feet above sea level, Red Hills overlooks the emerald lake in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Nilgiri range and is surrounded by tea plantations. The 150-year-old original structure was renovated and inhabited by the owners Vijay and Bhanumati who live on the property along with their son Vishanth and their five dogs.

Day 01 Arrival at Coimbatore Airport - Ooty - Red Hills Nature Resort
On arrival at Coimbatore airport, we will proceed to Red Hills Nature Resort in Ooty. This beautiful property is nestled amidst tea plantations, offering breathtaking views of one of the most picturesque valleys in the Nilgiri range. After checking in, you can indulge in the delicious spread of food. Later in the evening, we will visit the Emerald Lake, which offers serene views. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Red Hills Nature Resort.
Day 02 Red Hills Nature Resort
Have a leisurely breakfast, embark on a short guided hike to the tea plantation, followed by a visit to the Organic farm. Later come back to the property for lunch. In the evening, join the host, Vijay, for a guided tea-tasting session where he will enlighten you about the intricate process behind producing this beloved beverage. Spend the rest of the evening taking in the serene views at the property. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Red Hills Nature Resort.
Day 03 Red Hills Nature Resort - Coimbatore Airport
Have breakfast, and bid farewell to our wonderful host as you set out for the next leg of your journey. Depart for Coimbatore airport with beautiful memories.

These are two rooms next to each other and right at the level where the dining area and the common sit-out are. Both these rooms have an outside sit-out overlooking the valley and are ideal for people with walking issues.

Room G1 and G2
These are the next set of two rooms and part of one single unit. They are elevated above the common area and enjoy an undisturbed view of the entire emerald lake. The decor is rustic and sunsets are best enjoyed from here.

Room T1 and T2
These are rooms on the highest elevation and involve a little hike to reach up. They command the best views of the property, It is best suited for young people who like some seclusion.

Policies/House Rules:
- All meals are simple and served Buffet style.
- No loud music is allowed
- Room service does not exist as this is a homestay
- Some rooms need a small hike to access.
- Meals are served buffet style and included in the cost: Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Third Person/Child: Child above 12 years: 6000/-. Each room has a sofa bed if required at Rs.3000/person, which also covers the 2 meals provided.
- This is a nature retreat close to a forest. It's ideal for people who are looking to explore nature and/ or just relax.
- There are no TVs in the room, or in common spaces. There is Wi-Fi in each of the bedrooms and the dining room.
- There are six dogs on the property. So other dogs are not permitted on the property.
- Do not tip the staff directly. Please put all tips into the common tip jar located in the dining room.
